I must be thankful for what we are seeing as far as weather goes. So many people have had to face tornadoes, flooding, and feet of snow in parts of our country. My heart goes out to those touched by recent disaster. I know that fortitude, family, and friends will be the way that the challenges for each new day will be faced. So, now that the picture was taken the snow is subsiding ...maybe even a little melting going on.
Yesterday I was out picking up limbs and raking...

Yeah our snow is starting to melt as well, but it looks like we might get another round this weekend.
I have to agree with you though that it could be much, much worse.
simplyoutdoors - Yes, this stuff we are getting this morning should clear out and melt pretty quickly. At least that is what I am hoping.;)
Very little snow on the ground here but we are supposed to get anywhere from 3 to 5 inches tomorrow! Yuk!
windyridge - The snow is continuing to fall but I bet it won't be around by tomorrow afternoon.
If you had any heat the last few days it will be helpful in shortening the life of the snow does fall over your direction.
We, and I'm crossing my fingers really hard here, had one snowstorm earlier in the week, but it melted quickly. We still have a lot of snow left to melt, and it hasn't gotten all that warm yet, but I did hear birds chirping this morning. That's got to be a good sign, right?
kristine - I am hoping everybody up north will get some relief soon from this very LONG winter.
The sun is shining here today but from all current forecasts we are supposed to be precipitation magnets again next week.
So, I will relish the rays we get to have today.
